About This Spot
Stepping into MAZU feels like finding a quiet, sun-dappled corner where diverse culinary worlds converge with intention and warmth. The space invites relaxed conversations, framed by an openness that spills naturally into its inviting outdoor seating.
Here, the atmosphere is quietly vibrant, shaped as much by the textures of the food as by the human moments shared over it. The kitchen’s inviting aromas offer a subtle yet unmistakable promise: each ingredient is cared for and thoughtfully combined, drawing from Indian, Middle Eastern, and Taiwanese influences that feel both familiar and new. The experience unfolds in layers—a bright, fresh interplay of spices and textures, creamy hummus balanced by crisp falafel, and unexpected twists like a scallion pancake transformed into a wrap that delights with every bite.
What makes MAZU linger beyond taste is the feeling of discovery it nudges you toward. There’s a humble ingenuity here, turning street eats and tradition into a menu that surprises without overwhelming, inviting visitors to explore and savor bit by bit. The food was fantastic - we tried about 4 things and all of them were great. The hummus and falafel platter was delicious, and the Dan Dan noodles were so good we ordered another one. The sauces with the scallion pancake are delicious and every single ingredient is fresh and bright. The space is warm and clean, and thoughtfully laid out. There is plenty of outdoor seating, and a good amount of indoor seating as well as a kids table. The attention to detail from the food to the space itself is impressive. The Mazu Eats is not to be missed.

Best food and experience eating somewhere in YS so far! Highly recommend getting the hummus falafel plate, it’s gorgeous and delicious! The person working was very friendly as well :)

Friggin amazing cuisine. I mean, they did the unthinkable: scallion pancake burrito (wrap). It’s genius. The mushrooms are so simple yet so delicious. The bao is wow. We just love this place. 2nd time eating here and it exceeded our expectations again.

Hesitant on going here as we're not vegans, but love trying new foods. Everything was delicious. The fried mushrooms are addicting and unlike any I've had before. You got to try them for yourself!

What a fantastic, amazingly delicious new place. The food is so good that you’ll want to order one of everything ever time you go. The mushrooms are cooked in such a way that you’d never know they were mushrooms! Every item I’ve had here is above and beyond and tastes like something that supernaturally satiated my taste buds. The crew is fantastic, friendly and goes above and beyond. We are so happy they are in our little village and hopefully got a long time to come!

This was my first visit and the place smelled amazing the moment we walked in! This restaurant offers a small and cozy environment. The tables were clean and ready for seating when we walked in. The silverware is at the table for you to choose from including chopsticks. The menu is limited and our group got a variety of dishes to try and share. Everything we had was delicious. It's great to have another vegan option in the area!

Absolutely incredible food and amazingly friendly staff! I love the diversity and inclusivity that oozes from this restaurant. Their food is so flavorful and filling, and always leaves me feeling satisfied and looking forward to my next visit. I always dine inside, which is a good option and allows you the chance to enjoy their posters. I do look forward to trying their outdoor dining next time! Mazu is always a great choice!
